Sponsor Committee Chairperson Message
Welcome to 2924 (Khowutzun) Army Cadet Corps sponsor committee. May name is Maija Dadds and I am the Chairperson of this committee. I have been working with the cadet program since 2002 when my son joined cadets in Kelowna BC. Even though our son is no longer in cadets, I can proudly say that his success in school, work and his day to day life is attributed to what he learnt in the cadet program. I have seen what a positive impact this program has had not only on my son but many other young people all across Canada. Because of the success the Cadet Program offers to youth in the community I have continued to work with this program long after my son aged out of cadets. The skills learnt including leadership, citizenship, respect and comradery are just a few of the things that make cadets great. Lifelong friendship and special memories keep the youth in our community engaged in the program. Our committee is here to help support you and provide guidance as your child/ward moves through the program so please feel free to contact any one of us if you have questions. There is usually someone available on Wednesday evening during our regular cadet night so please stop by and introduce yourself.
